A telly diet guru reckons that swapping sugary breakfast cereal for leftover roast dinners will lead to “effortless weight loss”.

Dr Rangan Chatterjee, of BBC’s Doctor in the House, says tucking in to spicy curries first thing will also work. The mind and body expert said breakfast staples like granola and toast with jam play havoc with our blood sugar levels and leave us craving sugar for the rest of the day.
