EastEnders bosses 'consider slashing episode time' to attract younger viewers

TV bosses are said to be considering cutting episodes of EastEnders by a third in a bid to win back more younger viewers. The BBC show currently runs for half an hour - feared too long to keep the attention of millennials.

Telly execs believe slashing the time to 20 minutes could be the way forward, according to The Sun. It follows feedback from streaming services, who offer a range of 15-25 minute episodes for programmes specifically targeting teenagers.
