Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. She took part in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came ninth. She is currently the longest serving female presenter of This Morning. Ruth currently is more frequently known for her exclusive fashion collection, for British fashion label QVC. After being approached to curate a collection, Langsford signed a multi million pound endorsement deal that spawned 19 sellout collections; 18 of which debuted at London Fashion Week Women’s Collection.

This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes, 61, has taken to Twitter to call on BBC bosses to get his wife Ruth Langsford, 61, back on Countryfile as a presenter.

Retweeting a clip of his wife presenting a segment on the show in 1996, the star said that his wife "loves tractors" before imploring the broadcaster to rehire her.Commenting on a tweet from the official BBC Archive account, the ITV host questioned why his wife had left the favourite countryside show."Whatever happened to this Farming Reporter?" he asked his one million fans.He continued: "@RuthieeL loves her tractors," before tagging Countryfile's Twitter account."Get her back!" Eamonn implored bosses, including emojis of a tractor and love heart.It comes after the BBC Archive account.
