EAMONN Holmes has heaped more fuel onto his fiery debate with This Morning bosses, claiming he "wasn't being treated with respect." The veteran broadcaster, 62, and his wife, Loose Women anchor Ruth Langsford, were dropped from their Friday morning slot on the programme in November 2020 after 14 years.
After the ousting Eamonn headed to rival broadcaster GB News, where he now co-presents the breakfast show. Yet the switch has not been without continuing scandal, with the northern Irish presenter recently branding the broadcaster "sly" for the axing.
He has also been forced to hit back at claims viewers of the weekday lifestyle show "didn't like" him. Continuing to stand his corner, Eamonn told the Guardian Magazine this weekend: "It was obvious I didn't tick the boxes for ITV any more and I wasn't being treated with respect there. "It was a self-esteem thing. "You think 'nah I'm out of here, bye!' So that was it. .css-qu9fel{border-top:1px solid #dcdddd;}.css-b9nmbi{margin-bottom:16px;border-top:1px solid.
