Eamonn Holmes has reignited his feud with ITV following his move from This Morning to GB News.The TV presenter — who hosted the daytime series for 15 years with wife Ruth Langsford — explained his reasons for leaving the show in a new interview, revealing that he felt he “didn’t tick the boxes” anymore with ITV bosses.
Speaking to The Guardian, Eamonn discussed how he didn’t feel “appreciated” or respected on This Morning and so looked for other positions offering better treatment outside of the show. “I made the jump to GB News because options dried up,” the host told the publication.

It was a self-esteem thing. “You think: 'Nah, I’m out of here! Bye!' So that was it.” Eamonn confirmed in December last year that he was joining GB News following weeks of rumours of his possible move, after hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’ Leary were ushered in replacement of himself and wife Ruth on This Morning.
