Dumfries and Galloway curlers are aiming for glory in the World Junior Curling Championships. Dumfries pair Archie Hyslop and Charlie Gibb and Dalbeattie brothers Orrin and Logan Carson are representing Scotland in the tournament, which begins in Lohja, Finland on Saturday.
The team – coached by Orrin and Logan’s dad Ryan – claimed the bronze medal in last year’s competition and booked their place in this year’s event after retaining their Scottish title.
Logan and Archie go into the competition on a high after being part of Team GB’s rink which won gold at the Winter Youth Olympics in the Republic of Korea last month.
