An 18-year-old university fresher is fighting for her life after falling ill at her halls of residence following a night out in Cardiff.
The teenager, who is studying at Cardiff University, was found collapsed by flatmates in her student digs at Talybont Halls in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Officers are interviewing fellow students to trace her movements on Friday night and they are investigating whether her collapse is linked to that of a 25-year-old man who died on Sunday.
A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said officers were called to Tongwynlais, Cardiff, at around 12.15am on Sunday after the man fell ill.
