The GMB doctor had been reacting to those flouting the rules on masks and social distancing, including the prime minister's own dad Stanley Johnson, as pictured in the Daily Mirror.
Dr Hilary warned that the UK was following the same pattern as France in terms of coronavirus cases, which he branded "concerning". "Social distancing is the thing that keeps us safe," he said. "We've seen two shining examples of people who don't think the rules apply to them. "We're following the curve of France, which is concerning."
