Downing Street has issued an update on the condition of Prime Minister Boris Johnson after he was admitted to intensive care.
The PM was taken to St Thomas' Hospital on Sunday for suggested "routine tests". However, by Monday evening a spokeperson confirmed Mr Johnson had been transferred to the ICU.
It is understood Boris Johnson is not on a ventilator and is breathing without any other assistance. A spokesman for the Prime Minister said on Tuesday afternoon: "The PM has been stable overnight and remains in good spirits.
