His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Holly Willoughby fired back at Janet Street Porter on This Morning after the Loose Women presenter claimed said that the birth of Boris Johnson's baby wasn't "good planning".

The 73-year-old appeared on the ITV daytime show alongside Matthew Wright via video link as they gave their opinions on the news of the day.

This included yesterday's news that Boris Johnson's fiancée Carrie Symonds had given birth to their baby boy. However Janet wasn't too impressed by the news and criticised how Downing Street had handled the announcement.
