A dopey BMW driver handed over two cannabis joints after being pulled over by Greater Manchester Traffic Police in the early hours of this morning.
It's been a busy morning across the network for officers, with a number of suspects arrested and reported for motoring offences.
First up was a BMW driver arrested on suspicion of drug driving at Bolton Road, Bury. The suspect failed a roadside drug test after being caught red handed in possession of cannabis joints.
GMP Traffic tweeted at 12.57am: "The BMW 1 series was stopped on Bolton Road Bury. The driver presented #ME18 with 2 cannabis joints and then failed a roadside drug test. #arrested #fatal4 @NWmwaypolice" GMP were also on hand to spot another motorist who raced past their patrol car
