Coronavirus infection rates have gone up in all 10 boroughs of Greater Manchester with a total of 24,488 people tested positive.
The figures for the week ending December 18 show that Trafford continues to have the highest coronavirus infection rate in the city region.
The borough recorded 1,176 cases per 100,000 people, according to the data from the UK Health Security Agency. The lowest infection rate is in Wigan, where the rate is 598.1 cases per 100,000.
In Greater Manchester as a whole, the infection rate is now 863.6 cases, lower than the national average, which is 905.9 cases per 100,000 people.
