In a statement released today,it was confirmed that the country music legend Kenny Rogers had died, aged 81. It was confirmed that Kenny had sadly "passed away peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family".
The announcement read: "The Rogers family is sad to announce that Kenny Rogers passed away last night at 10.25PM at the age of 81.
Rogers passed away peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family." Rogers had a career that spanned more than six decades and enjoyed success in partnership with Dolly Parton, even announcing a farewell tour in 2015.
