The attack left the dog snoutless, which passerby Gomez witnessed – and she took the dog to a vet without permission from his owners as they "didn't want him to".Gomez claimed the owners left the dog "bleeding outside their house" and "did not care" about the extent of Angel's horrific injuries.
After Angel received treatment, the pup was taken in by the authorities who took him to an adoption centre where his current owner Ana found him.
