The duo teamed up to judge a fans' cosplay competition which saw them attempt to recreate some of their favourite characters from home.
Wearing her signature navy top with colourful stripes, Jodie said she was going to be "good cop". Dressed in his character's suit and tie, David said he planned to be "ruthless", adding that he was surprised his costume still fitted him "even after lockdown".
Their surprise appearance comes after BBC boss Rhodri Talfan Davies revealed series 13 couldn't be made with social distancing rules in place.
