A man became ‘immediately aggressive’ and violently attacked a staff member on board a Metrolink tram after being asked to show proof of his ticket.
He then attempted to punch the member of staff before being removed from the tram at Audenshaw Metrolink station in Tameside.
Following his removal, he tried to force the tram doors open in a bid to board the carriage again.
