DISNEY has called in the directors of Avengers: Endgame to lead a live-action remake of the film Hercules. It's been 23 years since the muscly animated character debuted on screens and now Disney have called in the big guns to help bring the iconic flick to life in a brand new way.
A source close to the project confirmed the directing duo's involvement to USA TODAY and news of the upcoming film first appeared on The Disinsider blog.
Along with Hercules, another live action film is also in the works, Cruella, from the perspective of the iconic 101 Dalmatians villain, which will star Emma Stone.
1989's The Little Mermaid is also set for a redo and is scheduled to include new songs from Moana star Lin-Manuel Miranda. No cast members have been.
