Two men were jailed today for causing the death of Gay Wharton, the former mayoress of Bolton, on November 13 of last year. Assad Hussain and Wasim Iqbal, both 23, were racing each other at speeds of more than 80mph in a 30mph zone just seconds before Hussain ploughed into the grandmother-of-three.
