Denton 'shutdown' car meet - who organised it, what GMP knew and what was done to break up huge crowds

Denton, claims he had arranged a 'small' event at Tameside Business Park on Sunday (July 19). A poster advertising the car meet - dubbed 'DMO Shutdown' - was posted on social media by Birmingham-based club DJ DMO Deejay 24 hours earlier.A large number of cars are believed to have met up with the DJ in Telford, before a convoy to JDX Autoworx.The event was swarming with people after the DJ posted pictures on his Instagram page, which has over 150k followers.Video footage from the event shows large groups of people lining the streets, with drivers revving their engines and speeding along residential roads.Mass gatherings are still banned under the government's coronavirus lockdown measures - even if the event is outside.It is not believed.
