Three children and a woman are fighting for their lives, and another badly injured after a car they were travelling in smashed into a tree in the early hours of this morning.
An ambulance which was taking a patient to hospital came across the crash site at 4.45am. Five more ambulances dashed to the scene in the Bordesley Green area of Birmingham.
Four children and a woman were found inside the wrecked silver Ford Fiesta which had collided with a tree. Three children are said to be in a serious condition, while one has a fractured collarbone.
A 48-year-old resident living near to the crash site said she was awoken by a ‘lone constant scream.’ She told Birmingham Live: "We heard a scream.
