deer was found mauled to death in a cemetery with its antlers sawn off.The buck was discovered by horrified countryside rangers at Camelon Cemetery car park, Falkirk, with its antlers hacked off.Shocked rangers described the attack as 'disgusting' following a spate of incidents of dogs chasing and killing deer in the area.Cops are now probing the attack on the young deer, which was in velvet, meaning its antlers were covered in a velvet coat and still growing.A countryside ranger from Falkirk Explored said: "This is another disgusting incident in this area."Forth Valley Police Wildlife Crime officers have been notified of this offence."If you saw or heard anything then do not hesitate to call the police."A spokesman for Falkirk Council.
