Two disabled women were 'mask shamed' by a bus driver who warned other passengers about them after they boarded the bus without wearing coverings.

The women, who are both legally 'deafblind,' were left fearing they would be attacked after the driver refused to drive on unless they donned masks - then began pointing them out to every new passenger who boarded.

Helen Colson, 30, complained after the Arriva bus service driver questioned her and her pal's disabilities - despite both having guide dogs.

She says the experience as they headed out in Liverpool left them fearful of leaving their homes again and with anxiety that they would be abused for not wearing masks.
