Ranvir Singh quits Good Morning Britain role as she eyes up 'new challenge'

Ranvir Singh has quit her role as political editor on Good Morning Britain a source has confirmed. The 44-year-old TV presenter and journalist left her political role in December but will remain as one of the regular presenters on the morning news and talk show.

Ranvir, who covers for main show presenter Susanna Reid when she is away, will continue hosting Good Morning Britain alongside the show’s other regular presenters including Susannna, Charlotte Hawkins, Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard.

She stepped in Lorraine Kelly's shoes on her chat show Lorraine during the summer and has also appeared as a guest presenter on ITV’s Loose Women.
