David Beckham "alarmed" his fans after sharing a picture of his bangers and mash - with a bizarre extra. The former Man United and England footballer, 44, posted a photo of his culinary skills during the coronavirus lockdown, but it left little to be desired.

The bangers and mash covered in gravy looked tasty enough. But fans were left wanting to give him a red card after he dolloped a huge wedge of coleslaw on the side.

Some were also horrified his beans were touching the mash too. Becks, 44, said: “Simple pleasures, bangers and mash. Oh and the coleslaw.” He also revealed he was having Viennetta, saying he was only allowed the treat “on special occasions when I was a little boy”.
