Dancing On Ice star Denise Van Outen has revealed that her partner Eddie Boxshall has put his foot down when it comes to the show's famous 'headbanger' move.
The 46-year-old explained that although Eddie was supportive of her being part of the ITV show and moving her professional skating partner into their home, he's not comfortable with the dangerous manoeuvre which involves a skater being picked up by the ankle and spun around by their partner.The skater being swung is raised and lowered with their head inches away from the ice during the risky move.The International Skating Union (ISU) which governs competitive skating disciplines has banned the 'headbanger' but it can be performed in show or exhibition skating.Just the very thought of.
