Dancing On Ice chiefs have been left in crisis after the Covid-19 lockdown forced councils to close many ice skating rinks up and down the UK.
With immediate effect from Thursday, numerous venues have been ordered to shut by Prime Minister Boris Johnson and won't be allowed to open again until December 2.This has meant that celebrities such as Rebekah Vardy, Jason Donovan, Denise Van Outen and Myleene Klass have been left without any local places to skate.The location where the show is filmed in Bovingdon, Hertfordshire is currently off limits as refurbishments for the programme's launch in January are still taking place.An insider reported to The Sun that the recent lockdown had left ITV bosses sweating as they try to find work-arounds to.
