Coleen Rooney’s "Wagatha Christie" tactics to track down the lockdown leaker, it has been claimed.An inquiry is under way to find out who revealed early that the country was going into a second national lockdown before it had been officially announced.Only a handful of Cabinet ministers – Matt Hancock, Michael Gove and Rishi Sunak – had been told in advance, on October 31.The leak, later the same day, forced Boris Johnson to speed up his plans and make the announcement at a press conference the next day.
The Prime Minister is now being advised to give out differently worded briefings as a "canary trap" to see which version gets leaked, the Daily Telegraph reported.
