Dad’s heartbreaking message to baby girl mauled to death by pet dog bought a week ago

The toddler was attacked by the family pooch, which had only been bought a week ago and has since been humanely destroyed by the police.
A neighbour who heard the tragic tot's screams told how she desperately tried to save Bella's life. The animal will be subject to further forensic examinations to determine the breed of dog and whether it is or isn’t a legal breed under the 1991 Dangerous Dogs Act.Bella-Rae only celebrated her first birthday in October last year, with her parents and older brother.
And in a heartbreaking message, dad Ryan wished the toddler a happy first birthday – unknowing that it would tragically be her last.
