dailyrecord.co.ukA dad ran down his own children's mother and then blamed her for the damage to the car. Gordon Hemingray, 46, blasted his former partner calling her a 'spiteful b****' and accused her of damaging his wing mirror, reports Derbyshire Live.
Derby Crown Court heard that the defendant and the victim had been lovers and have two teenage daughters together. Abigail Joyce, prosecuting says they were both drug users and had been taking on the day of the incident on October 3 2020.The prosecutor said: "She believed the defendant had taken items from her and when he parked up she emptied her belongings on the seat of the car.
She got out and started looking for her tobacco, purse and phone and asked him if he had taken her tobacco and he said he had."He got angry, he went to drive off, the car door was open as she had been standing outside looking for items and as he drove off the door struck her, knocking her to the floor.
He then did a three-point turn and drove back towards her, she had got on her feet from where she had been struck the first time."He drove at her and struck her with the front passenger side knocking her back down and causing her to bang her head.
