Aberdeen captain Anthony Stewart has revealed the person who racially abused him has since tried to reach out to him.The culprit has attempted to get in touch but Stewart has no interest in speaking to him.
Stewart took to social media after he was racially abused following his red card during the Scottish Premiership clash with St Mirren to highlight the ugly attack.
The skipper confirmed: “Not as yet. I haven’t been in contact with him. To be fair, he did message me on social media but I have refused to reply.
What is done is done and there is no need for me and him to speak, so I didn’t speak to him.”The Londoner has been a professional footballer for 11 years and he has admitted it is the first time he has been faced with such an issue, but has been delighted with the backing he has received from everybody at Aberdeen.
