dailystar.co.ukA dad has been jailed after force-feeding a warden a parking ticket. Furious Alex Owers, 40, was caged after putting the busybody in a headlock and snarling “eat it now, you can have it” after noticing the penalty notice on his windshield.
Hull Crown Court heard how dad-of-three Owers, from Kingston, Yorks., was arrested after a bizarre crime spree that also involved him licking a protective screen at a petrol station and coughing in a policeman’s face.
HullLive told how Owers attacked the warden after being fined for parking illegally outside a café in Hilderthorpe Road in Bridlington.
The court was told that when he was confronted by an "angry" Owers, the parking warden tried to walk away but was set upon. Prosecuting, Sue Evans said:
