A couple desperate to make a fertility appointment after anxious months of waiting were among the first aboard flights out to Spain as travel bans eased.
Spain has officially lifted restrictions for UK travellers from Monday, with visitors no longer needing to take a PCR Covid-19 test.
However the country currently remains on the UK's amber travel list, meaning travellers must go into quarantine upon return.
But for Carole Hutchison and her partner Christopher Couper, from Fife, Scotland, their reason for travel is not a holiday. The couple have fertility treatment booked in Alicante and are in a race against time as they must arrive at the clinic by midday. Are you going to Spain this week?
