Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

Couple let suffering dog die painful death with hole dug in garden to bury him

A man who left his flea infested dog to suffer before its tragic death had a hole dug in the garden ready to bury it. David Littlefare made a call to the RSPCA requesting for his pet Pippa to be put down due to serious illness.

When a volunteer arrived at the 25-year-old's home, she found the white West Highland Terrier barely breathing and weak, covered in scabs and with rotting teeth.

Pippa died en route to the animal charity's Goole centre, Hull Live reports. Littlefare, of of Pearson Street, Goole, appeared before Hull Magistrates' Court on Friday (January 14) with his ex-girlfriend Olivia Watson, 22, of Moorland Road, Goole.

Both admitted to causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal at Hull Magistrates' Court.Ms Louise Freeman, prosecuting, told the court that the volunteer believed the animal had been suffering for weeks, if not months, prior to her death.Ms Freeman said: "The poor condition the dog was in was quite distressing to her, she noticed clotting around the dog's back end, the ears had black substance in and around it, the dog was thin and smelled as though something was off."She was visibly underweight, her spine, ribs and hipbone were protruding.
