Corrie's Abi Franklin in baby paternity riddle as Toyah makes horror discovery

Coronation Street 's Abi Franklin has had her world turned upside down after discovering she was in labour with a baby boy. Spoilers for the soap have revealed that Abi will become determined to keep her son after losing her son Seb last year.Next week, Abi assures the social worker that she’s enrolled in rehab and will do whatever it takes to keep her baby.She later sees Toyah Battersby and tells her she has to prove she can offer Alfie a proper home, leading Toyah to quiz Imran about her ‘ex client’.A panicking Imran guesses she is talking about Abi, and goes to find Abi at the hospital where she drops a bombshell.She admits he's the father of her baby, unaware that Toyah is watching them from the corridor.Meanwhile, the story about Abi and her son soon reaches her neighbours in Weatherfield as Debbie sees it in the paper.She assumes the baby is Kevin's and demands answers, but Abi soon stops her in her tracks and reveals her baby is having an operation.As the new mum waits for news, she is horrified to see Kevin in the hospital and breaks down in his arms.Kevin then reveals that he is assuming the baby is the result of her one night stand with Tez, and an embarrassed Abi doesn't correct him.As Abi gets the news that Alfie's operation has gone well, Kevin offers to let the new mum stay with him, prompting her to hope they could reunite.Later in the week, Imran gets involved as he becomes determined to stick up for Abi as he calls at the garage and reminds Kevin that no matter what the circumstances, Abi’s entitled to maternity pay.How long will it be before Abi's secret is revealed?Corrie airs weekdays at 8pm on ITV.For more of the latest showbiz news from Daily Star, make sure you sign up to one of our newsletters.
