Seven Britons have tested positive for coronavirus in Vietnam and two others being held at a "prison-like" hospital are waiting for their results to come back.
The UK citizens who tested positive were on the same London to Hanoi flight as a Vietnamese woman who was carrying the infection.
Vietnamese health officials were urgently trying to trace and test passengers who were on the same journey on March 2. A 66-year-old British woman quarantined in the town of Hu since Saturday is in a stable condition with no fever or cough, said health officials.
The seven Britons are among nine foreigners - all aged between 58 and 74 - to test positive following the Vietnam Airlines flight.
