Police chiefs have issued a full list of all the “reasonable excuses” people can leave their homes during the UK’s coronavirus lockdown – including moving to a friend’s house for a “cooling off” after arguments.
The National Police Chiefs’ Council have issued guidance for Brits to explain the reasons that someone could “reasonably” go outside during the Covid-19 shutdown – which was today extended by three weeks.
Cops have already issued more than 3,200 fines to people caught flouting the lockdown, with people still complaining that the rules have not made clear enough the situations in which they can leave their homes.
