The BBC has confirmed that, following government advice about the coronavirus, production on all BBC Studios continuing dramas has been suspended.
This affects EastEnders, Holby City, Casualty, Doctors, Pobol y Cwm and River City. In a statement, the BBC said: "In light of the spread of Covid-19, after much consideration, it has been decided that filming on all BBC Studios continuing dramas will be postponed until further notice." Meanwhile, last night's Holby City was dropped from schedules, while it has also been confirmed that EastEnders will be cutting down on episodes.
