The "sudden and unexplained" death of a three-year-old boy in Cardiff has triggered a police investigation. South Wales Police said officers were called to a house in the Cathays area of the city at 5.40pm on Monday, June 29.
A spokesman said the "cause of death has not been confirmed". The family were being housed by Clearsprings Ready Homes on behalf of the Home Office's asylum support system, BBC Wales reports.
It is understood that the dead child was a twin, had a disability, and was under the care of a UK children's hospital. A woman and another child were treated in hospital following the call.
