Coronation Street, you'd be wrong - as next week the teen is set to be kidnapped just before she plans to exit the cobbles. With the students of Weatherfield High currently embroiled in an upskirting plotline, with Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby), Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) and Asha Alahan at the crux, it's full steam ahead for their university careers, with Summer set for Oxford and Amy bound for London.Asha, meanwhile, is planning to go all out with an application to Glasgow University. She confides in her twin brother Aadi (Adam Hussein) and Summer that she's planning to apply to the Scottish university, but frets that it's too far from home - and that she's reluctant to leave Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) when she's so vulnerable.Nina has, of course, been recovering from the violent attack which killed her boyfriend Seb Franklin - as well as the effects of the sinkhole tragedy on the cobbles. And later, she confides in dad Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) that she's having second thoughts - but her dad suspects that it's because Asha doesn't want to leave her on-again off-again girlfriend.Later in the week, Dev sets off to Daniel's flat to have a look at his leaky sink, and hands his daughter a guide book for Glasgow. But Nina soon spots the prospectus in Asha's bag - and, determined to put on a brave face, encourages her to enjoy her day out.Things soon take a dark turn as Nina's bad memories are dredged up, and she realises that floods are expected in Glasgow at the same time as Asha will be there.Concerned, she turns to her uncle Roy to share her fears about Asha's train journey.Asha pops into the cafe to see Nina before her trip, but a worried Nina pockets Asha's phone while she's there.
