Coronation Street fans seriously confused by David Platt 'teleportation' blunder

On Wednesday night, Coronation Street viewers watched in horror as David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) was cornered by a gang of thugs who threatened him with a knife.

Tonight's episode, which should have aired on Monday night, saw David outsmart the yobs and run away back to Coronation Street.

They managed to come at him from both sides of the street though, leading to him having to do some majorly quick thinking. As they neared him, David seemed to completely vanish, before the camera panned up seconds later and saw him at the top of a set of fire escape stairs.

Viewers were left majorly confused by his speed, wondering how on Earth he managed to get to the top so quickly and without being noticed.
