Corrie SPOILERS: David reveals his dangerous new addiction

Corrie viewers have been left heartbroken as David Platt has become more and more self-destructive in recent weeks. And his behaviour isn’t going to improve it would seem.

After Shona forgot who he is and their connection, he has become a shell of his former self. He is trying to get the adrenaline rush he experienced when he was being mugged.

Things come to a head when he deliberately seeks out a drugs gang for a fight, by jumping on the bonnet of their car. He narrowly escapes being attacked by them.

He admits to a shocked Craig Tinker that he gets an adrenaline rush from it that’s addictive. Craig is absolutely horrified when he learns this, telling David that someday he will go too far.
