Coronation Street viewers cringe at Daniel Platt's 'creepy' request to prostitute

Coronation Street viewers were horrified during Wednesday's episode as Daniel Platt asked a sex worker to dress up as his dead wife Sinead.

Daniel cuddled up to Nicky in a dodgy motel but all he wanted was a cuddle and chat, and paid £150 an hour for the priviledge.

However, his one strange request was that he wanted her to wear Sinead's clothes. Nicky told him he could be getting more than just an ear to listen to him reminisce about times with his son, Bertie.

But Daniel insisted she had helped him significantly just by listening to him. Viewers were divided as some felt sorry for grieving Daniel, whose wife died last year, but others thought he was behaving strangely. "What daniel is doing is seriously unhealthy #corrie," wrote one.
