A major fire has broken out at Cork Port with locals being warned to stay inside as black smoke rips through the sky. The port's emergency plan has been activated and emergency services are at the scene in Ringaskiddy Deepwater Berth.
Ship operations in the port have been suspended as fire crews tackle the blaze. The fire started at the R&H Hall animal grain facility and residents in the area are being advised to stay indoors and keep their windows closed.
