A dad was arrested for breaking curfew rules after he left home to buy his newborn baby some milk, it is reported. Under coronavirus lockdown rules, South Africa has a nightly curfew from 9pm to 5am.
But according to reports, a dad rushed out to buy formula at 1am because his two-day-old baby was struggling to breastfeed. The father, who has not been named, went to a pharmacy at a hospital on Friday to buy the milk.

The baby's mum had to take her newborn out in the middle of the night to collect it. Later that day the dad was released and is due back in court
