CHARLIZE Theron and her co-star Tom Hardy fell out on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road, according to the cast and crew. The actress, 46, is said to have branded Tom, 44, “a f****** c***” after he left her waiting on set for hours one day as their relationship reached breaking point.
Things reportedly got so bad between the pair, that Charlize requested the company of a female producer with her at all times for “protection” against the actor.
In a series of new interviews for New York Times columnist Kyle Buchanan's new book Blood, Sweat & Chrome: The Wild And True Story Of Mad Max: Fury Road, those working on the film have opened up about the simmering tensions.
Charlize played Imperator Furiosa in the 2015 movie, while Tom starred as Max Rockatansky. Stunt double Natascha Hopkins recalled that Charlize was a new mum at the time of filming and didn’t want to waste time on set.
