I ignored it all so that I could continue to be a fan of the “Tom Hardy” creation in my mind, who I know bears very little to Edward Thomas Hardy, whoever he actually is.
My feelings have waned a bit in recent years. I can tell because the “discovery” page on my Instagram is no longer only pictures of Tom Hardy holding dogs.
