Cops have sparked a huge debate and been slammed as “a joke” after they seized a quad bike from a two-year-old.The officers from Staffordshire Police have faced criticism for their decision to take the vehicle from the young kid under Section 165 of The Road Traffic Act.A picture shows the mini red bike being loaded onto a recovery truck after it was seized in Stoke-On-Trent.The toy vehicle, which was also being ridden by a six-year-old, was snatched in Tunstall Park on Thursday, April 21.But the decision has triggered much ridicule amongst the local community, reports Stoke-on-Trent Live.One bemused resident, Ian Swift fumed: "Are you having a laugh?“I saw these in Tunstall on this quad and it barely went faster than I can walk.
Staffordshire Police need to get a grip instead of making themselves look a joke."Another added: "How ridiculous, like they've not got anything else to be doing.“You ring 999 and it takes them three hours to come out.
