Comedian Lee Mack 'catches coronavirus after visiting rammed Cheltenham Festival'

Lee Mack has reportedly contracted coronavirus after going to the rammed Cheltenham horseraces earlier this month. The 51-year-old comic is believed to have caught Covid-19 during a visit to the Cheltenham Festival, which made headlines due to the crowds of people just as fears about the spread of coronavirus were mounting.

A friend of the funnyman said: "Lee has got voronavirus. It looks like he caught it from his driver when he went to the Cheltenham Festival." Stand-up star Lee - whose real name is Lee Gordon McKillop - is self-isolating according to friends.

The comic - who stars in the aptly named Not Going Out - is yet to publicly confirm his health status. It comes just days after Lee donated to a crowd-funding pot to help
