The CFG own Manchester City, and recently added Lommel SK in Belgium to the group as they look to expand in Europe. Now, they have added Ligue 2 outfit Troyes, confirming they are the new majority shareholders in the 2001 Intertoto Cup winners.
They have purchased their shares from Daniel Masoni with French businessman Maxime Ray taking a minority shareholding and place on the board.
Ferran Soriano, chief executive of the CFG, said they are delighted to purchase a club in France, referring to the grassroots talent available in the country.
