Linda Robson made an appearance on Lorraine on Friday, chatting about everything from her ideal soap role to family life and showing love for NHS staff.
However, Linda's candid chat led to host Christine Lampard having to say sorry live on air when the topic turned to Linda's hopes of landing a part on EastEnders.
Referencing her previous guest spot, Christine probed: "There's one thing on the list and it's EastEnders isn't it?" Linda excitedly responded: "Oh yeah, I did do one wartime one Sibby Street years ago, I played Lou Bill's sister Flo Bill but I have hinted a few times that even a little cameo role or whatever but I'd love to play a real b***h," leading to an outburst of laughter from Christine as Linda added: "Or someone really nasty because I always get light parts." Realising the slip, Christine jumped in, apologising to viewers: "You know it's a funny thing because I thought, she knows it's early morning, she's not allowed to swear for me and you just let a little one slip so I'm sorry if no one likes that word." A surprised Linda queried, "What the B word? " prompting Christine to warn, "Don't say any other words!" The star of Loose Women, slightly taken aback, said: "I didn't realise it was a bad word," while Christine recounted the frequent reminders Linda gets to watch her language on Loose Women, reports the Mirror.
Linda's visit to the show came shortly after she commented on fellow Loose Women panellist Ruth Langsford's split from Eamonn Holmes.
